Rivendell operates on a sliding scale of $60-$75 per 1 hour session of Spiritual Direction. Whatever you are able to pay on this scale is accepted, no questions asked. If financial assistance is needed, please contact the director as we prefer not to turn people away due to finances.

Payment is due at the time of booking (unless tap to pay is chosen). Accepted payment methods include:

• Venmo 
• Tap to pay (a 2.5% fee will be added)
• Checks made out to Rivendell Spiritual Direction and Soul Care, LLC. 

If either the director or directee gets sick or needs to cancel for any reason after paying for a session, the session will be rescheduled with no additional payment necessary.

Insurance is not accepted for Spiritual Direction.

Sometimes individuals or churches/organizations providing spiritual direction for a pastor or leader may want to pay for multiple sessions at once (quarterly, annually, etc.). This is also fine and any special payment arrangement can be discussed with the director.

Andrew will meet monthly with his own spiritual director. He will also meet monthly with a group of practicing Spiritual Directors for group supervision. These practices (and others) will hold the director accountable for his own spiritual walk and practice of Spiritual Direction. 

For those who are new to Spiritual Direction and/or Rivendell, a free consultation conversation will be provided in order to determine if the fit is right for both parties.

From there, it is best to meet monthly for 4-6 months and then evaluate together about continuation, as well as if anything needs to be more tailored to meet the needs of the directee.
